Prestigio del Norte is a Minnesota-based band formed in 2020, with members hailing from Nuevo Leon, Tamaulipas, Guerrero, and El Salvador. The group plays a mix of traditional and modern Norteño music, as well as classic cumbias and tropical music. They are known for their authentic interpretations of classic Norteña songs like “Arbol de la Horca,” “Para ti Mi Amor,” “Despedida con Mariachi,” and “El Palomito,” among others. Prestigio Del Norte is currently recording their first album, La Venganza de Una Madre, with some of the songs available on social media.
